The brand new CHRONOMETRE BLEU adheres to the level and philosophy of the Swiss Observatory’s precision timepieces and continues the tradition of high-end handmade watches.
The 39 mm diameter CHRONOMETRE BLEU case is first cast in a special tantalum alloy. This gray-blue metal has excellent abrasion resistance and scratch resistance, and is a rare material for making watch cases. However, in view of its melting point of 3000 degrees and high density of 16.3, the difficulty and technical requirements for making tantalum alloy are particularly high, so this metal has rarely appeared in the design of watches for a long time.
The color of the chrome blue dial and the case shows perfect harmony, and it is accompanied by creamy hands and Arabic numerals. The small seconds dial at 7:30 is embossed and polished against the smooth dial.
