Since the official production of the first Fifty Fathoms watch in 1953, Blancpain, a long-established watchmaking brand, has established and maintained close ties with the blue ocean.    On July 27, 2016, the opening ceremony of the exhibition was held at the landmark KLCC in Suria KLCC. Alain Delamuraz, Global Vice President and Marketing Director, Blancpain, Laurent Ballesta and Imran Ahmad Cortina Watch, a retail partner, attended the opening ceremony and welcomed guests such as brand friends and watch fans.    Blancpain’s ‘Hearts of the Sea’ theme exhibition is divided into several exhibition areas according to different chapters, and each exhibition area is accompanied by a detailed and in-depth introduction:

Legend is born-In this exhibition area, visitors can explore the deep connection between Blancpain and the underwater world. This inexplicable relationship began when Blancpain released its first modern diving watch more than 60 years ago-50 Alas.
Deep sea exploration-With the connection of the Fifty Fathoms watch, Blancpain has established important relationships with many scientists, divers, government organizations and other pioneers of deep sea exploration. These historical sources have given Blancpain its enduring enthusiasm, as always, to support environmental projects such as exploring, preserving and protecting the oceans of the planet.
Deep Sea Art-This area displays moving colorful underwater photographs taken by Blancpain’s best friends and world-renowned underwater photographers. Visitors can explore the diversity of the ocean and understand the importance of protecting the ocean. An immersive experience that seems to witness the wonders of the deep sea adds a touch of emotion to this precious scientific undertaking.
